Crafted from high-density premium linen, the garment utilizes the natural rigidity of the fiber to maintain a sharp, sculptural form. The design is centered around an intentional asymmetric silhouette, featuring overlapping panels and a diagonal hemline that creates a sense of rhythmic movement.
The vest is engineered with a clean, sleeveless profile and a specialized interior structure that allows it to function as both a standalone top and a sophisticated outer layer. With its organic texture and precise geometric lines, this piece serves as a versatile anchor for an artisanal wardrobe, bridging the gap between raw naturalism and industrial precision.

This vest is designed to be the textural centerpiece of a curated ensemble. Pair with the Japan handcrafted polyester-rayon asymmetric skirt for a play on echoing geometric lines and fluid movement. For a more grounded, architectural look, layer it over the ribbed cotton-modal-lyocell vest and style with the Japan high-waisted pleated pants. Complete the silhouette with lambskin brogue lace-up heels—the organic wood heel provides a beautiful material counterpoint to the structured linen of the vest.
To preserve the sharp asymmetric lines and the structural integrity of the linen:
-
Washing: We recommend professional dry cleaning to maintain the crisp, tailored edges. For at-home care, hand wash in cool water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent.
-
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Lay flat to dry on a clean towel in a shaded area. Hanging while wet may cause the asymmetric panels to stretch or lose their geometric alignment.
-
Ironing: To maintain a sharp, architectural look, iron while slightly damp using a high-heat steam setting. Focus on the edges of the overlapping panels to preserve the structural "crispness."
-
Storage: Store on a wide, padded hanger to protect the shoulder line and prevent the panels from wrinkling.
