Crafted from a sophisticated technical blend featuring 28% Tencel™ and 12% Linen, the knit provides a breathable, dry hand-feel with a gentle drape that is ideal for transitional layering.
The design features a classic V-neckline and an asymmetric color-block construction, where a crisp ivory panel is artfully "connected" to a soft khaki base. This mixed-media approach provides a modern, architectural depth to the traditional vest silhouette, offering a curated, multi-layered aesthetic without the added bulk.
-
Origin: Conceptually designed and meticulously produced in Japan.
-
Material: A high-quality blend of Rayon, 28% Tencelâ„¢, and 12% Linen for a "cool-touch" feel and natural texture.
-
Silhouette: Relaxed, straight-cut fit with a deep V-neck and elongated armholes for versatile layering.
-
Features: Unique "docking" construction with ivory and khaki panels; ribbed detailing at the neckline, hem, and cuffs.
-
Texture: A fine-gauge knit that balances the organic slub of linen with the silky smoothness of Tencelâ„¢.
-
This vest is designed to be the textural focal point of a minimalist look. Pair the "Khaki & Ivory" version with the Japan high-waisted pleated pants in olive drab for a cohesive, tonally-driven ensemble. For a sharper contrast, layer it over a crisp white band-collar shirt and style with back-adjusted buckle strap denim. Complete the outfit with soft calf leather Mary Janes or triple-ribbon brogues to ground the layered knitwear with a sharp, artisanal finish.
To preserve the delicate knit tension and the alignment of the color-docked panels:
-
Washing: Hand wash in cool water (30°C) using a specialized knitwear detergent.
-
Detergent: Use a pH-neutral liquid detergent to protect the Tencelâ„¢ and linen fibers from becoming brittle.
-
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Lay flat to dry on a clean towel in a shaded area. Reshape while damp to maintain the architectural lines of the vest.
-
Storage: Always store folded. Hanging the garment can cause the weight of the knit to stretch the shoulder seams and distort the V-neckline.
