Constructed from high-grade polyester, the design features a structured base topped with a delicate organza layer that creates a soft-focus, multidimensional effect.
The silhouette is engineered for effortless movement, utilizing the crispness of the organza to maintain a voluminous A-line shape that feels weightless. Designed with a focus on daily versatility and comfort, the waist is elasticated, allowing the garment to sit comfortably at the natural waistline while preserving a clean, gathered aesthetic that transitions seamlessly from artistic daytime wear to evening occasions.
-
Origin: Conceptually designed and meticulously produced in Japan.
-
Material: 100% Technical Polyester; sheer organza outer layer for architectural volume and a subtle crystalline luster.
-
Silhouette: High-waisted, tiered A-line profile with a soft, ethereal drape and an ankle-grazing length.
-
Waist: Fully elasticated waistband for maximum flexibility and ease of wear.
-
Features: Integrated tonal lining to ensure opacity, reinforced hem stitching to support the organza structure, and a subtle "shadow-play" effect created by the layered fabric.
-
This skirt is designed to be a textural centerpiece. Pair the "Midnight Onyx" version with the ribbed cotton-modal-lyocell vest in ivory—the fitted, matte ribbing provides a beautiful grounded contrast to the airy, translucent organza. For a more avant-garde look, style it with the asymmetric rayon-blend draped top. Complete the aesthetic with patent leather square-toe Mary Janes and Mina Perhonen figurine socks to emphasize the whimsical yet sophisticated Japanese artisanal vibe.
To maintain the delicate organza structure and the technical properties of the polyester:
-
Washing: We recommend professional dry cleaning or a very gentle hand wash in cool water. If machine washing, use a delicate cycle and a protective mesh laundry bag.
-
Detergent: Use a mild, liquid detergent. Avoid bleach or heavy enzymes which can degrade the fine organza fibers.
-
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Drip dry on a wide, padded hanger to prevent the weight of the water from stretching the elasticated waist.
-
Steaming: Use a handheld garment steamer on a low-heat setting from a slight distance. Avoid direct contact with a hot iron, as the polyester organza is highly heat-sensitive and can melt or glaze.
