This isn't just denim; it's an architectural study of the lower body. Forged from authentic Japanese selvedge-inspired cotton, these jeans offer the legendary rigidity and structure that the world’s denim purists demand. The silhouette is a masterclass in proportion—sitting high at the waist with a voluminous, curved thigh that aggressively tapers at the ankle, creating a sharp, "O-shape" profile that is quintessentially Tokyo.
The specialized mid-wash creates a weathered, lived-in patina that highlights the premium grain of the denim while maintaining a clean, high-fashion edge. It’s the perfect counterpoint to a minimalist wardrobe, providing a rugged yet refined anchor for any curated ensemble.
To preserve the architectural taper and the depth of the indigo:
-
The Wash: Wash only when necessary. Use cold water and wash inside out to prevent unnecessary indigo loss. A specialized denim wash is recommended to keep the fibers strong.
-
The Dry: Hang to air dry by the belt loops. Never tumble dry; high heat will destroy the denim’s structural integrity and shrink the sculptural taper.
-
The Refresh: Between washes, use a fabric freshener or hang them in a well-ventilated area. If they feel stiff, a quick steam from a distance will relax the fibers without compromising the shape.

The dramatic, curved volume of these tapered jeans requires a streamlined top to keep the proportions balanced. For a high-contrast street look, pair them with the Japan handcrafted sculptural cotton tee tucked in; the crispness of the tee mirrors the rigidity of the denim perfectly.
If you're aiming for a more complex textural story, style them with the halter knitted vest—the soft knit provides a feminine juxtaposition to the rugged Japanese denim. For a final layer of sophistication, throw on the embroidered Tencel-linen shirt worn open like a duster. Complete the look with the oil-waxed lambskin chunky heels to add architectural height and the calf leather dual-handle bag for a touch of polished, front-row luxury.
