To maintain the crispness of the cotton and the integrity of the layers:
-
Washing: We recommend a gentle machine wash in a laundry bag or a hand wash in cool water.
-
Quick Tip: To prevent the layers from twisting or wrinkling excessively, wash the garment inside out and use a low spin cycle.
-
Drying: Hang to air dry in the shade while the fabric is still slightly damp. Smooth out the skirt layers by hand before hanging to minimize the need for heavy ironing.
-
Steaming: Use a handheld steamer for the best results, ensuring you steam between the skirt and pants layers. If using an iron, use a medium-high cotton setting to restore the sharp, flat-pressed finish of the overlays.

This piece is a definitive example of modern Korean avant-garde design, offering a creative take on the traditional silhouette. Crafted from high-quality premium cotton, it features a unique layered construction where a structured skirt is integrated directly over tailored pants. This "skirt-pants" (or "skort-trousers") hybrid provides the effortless movement of pants with the elevated, architectural volume of a skirt.
The design emphasizes a clean, multi-dimensional look, using the natural stiffness of the cotton to maintain sharp lines and dramatic folds. It’s a versatile statement piece that challenges conventional layering, perfect for those who want a curated, high-concept aesthetic in a single garment.

The structural complexity of these skirt-pants calls for a more streamlined top to keep the focus on the silhouette. For a sophisticated tonal look, pair them with the Japan handcrafted embroidered crewneck tee tucked in; the premium cotton of both pieces creates a cohesive, high-end feel. If you prefer more textural variety, style them with the Korea handcrafted embossed floral flare blouse—the voluminous sleeves of the blouse provide a beautiful counterpoint to the layered structure of the bottoms. For a professional ensemble with an edge, layer the Japan layered organza mid-length blazer over the top; the sheer organza trim will float elegantly over the skirt overlay. Finish the look with the lambskin Mary Janes for a soft, minimalist anchor, or the oil-waxed lambskin chunky heels for an industrial, commanding presence. Complete the outfit with the calf leather dual-handle bag to reinforce the clean, modern lines of the ensemble.
