Embodying serene Japanese minimalist charm and rich textural craftsmanship, this sleeveless polo knitted vest introduces an effortless, modern tactile layer for warm-weather wardrobes. The defining feature is its flat-knit open lapel collar, which frames the neckline with soft structure without needing button hardware. The body features an intricate, multi-dimensional chevron-stitch knit texture, creating subtle horizontal and diagonal rhythmic waves across the fabric. Clean ribbed trims along the armholes and hem outline the silhouette, providing a gentle hold while maintaining an unstudied, relaxed drape.
Meticulously crafted from a premium cotton-polyester blend knit, this top combines the breathable, organic softness of natural cotton with the structural stability and wrinkle resilience of polyester. The yarn is spun from a multi-tone marled tweed blend, weaving together muted shades of soft grey, powder blue, warm oatmeal, and subtle lavender-mauve. Cut in a neat, straight-fitting boxy silhouette, the vest sits comfortably at the hip, making it ideal for wearing untucked over structured shorts or loosely tucked into high-waisted trousers.
-
Hand wash cold inside out with a mild liquid wool/delicates detergent to protect the delicate multi-color marled yarn and knit structure.
-
If machine washing, place inside a protective mesh laundry bag and use an ultra-gentle, cold cycle.
-
Do not wring or twist; gently squeeze out excess water with a soft towel to prevent misshaping the shoulders or collar.
-
Lay flat to dry on a dry towel in the shade away from direct heat to maintain the shape of the lapel collar and armholes.
-
Store folded in a drawer rather than on a hanger to avoid stretching out the knit shoulders over time.
-
Garment steam lightly from the reverse side on a low heat setting to release storage creases without flattening the raised stitch texture.

This versatile knitted vest serves as a ideal anchor for Japanese-inspired casual and tailored ensembles. Style it with tailored black high-waisted pleated shorts, dark leather strap sandals, and a sleek low ponytail for a sophisticated, urban daytime look. Alternatively, pair it with crisp white wide-leg bermuda shorts or tailored ivory linen trousers and minimalist silver jewelry to highlight the soft, multi-colored marled texture of the knit.
