Waist adjusted strap cotton white layered shirt dress

This shirt dress beautifully embodies a contemporary Japanese avant-garde aesthetic, masterfully playing with architectural proportions and structural layering. Deconstructing the traditional tailored button-up, it incorporates a fluid, attached overlay panel that wraps across the bodice to deliver striking multi-dimensional depth to a minimalist closet.

• The Cleaning: Machine wash inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with similar white garments inside a protective mesh laundry bag, utilizing a mild detergent.

• The Maintenance: Reshape immediately while damp and hang to air dry naturally away from direct sunlight. Use a medium-heat garment steamer to release soft laundry lines, following the direction of the layered panels to keep them lying flat and pristine.

• The Storage: Store hanging full-length on a smooth, wide hanger to allow the asymmetric layout to drape naturally without setting crease lines.

An exceptional standalone piece that thrives on structural simplicity and smart footwear contrast. Accentuate its sharp, architectural geometry by grounding the look with the Brushed Calf Leather Side-Buckle Loafers or the bold Metal-Overlay Calf Leather Loafers. To bring an elegant touch of classic femininity to the contemporary silhouette, style it alongside the Repetto Pointy Double-Strap Slingback Mary Janes.

Origin: Made in Japan.

Materials

• Fabric Composition: Crafted from a premium, high-density blend of 55% Cotton and 45% Polyester.

• Properties: This technical balance pairs the crisp, breathable luxury of natural cotton with the smooth, resilient, and lightweight qualities of performance polyester. The dense weave provides excellent structural retention to hold the sharp lines of the collar and asymmetrical folds cleanly away from the body, while remaining highly resistant to harsh wrinkling throughout the day.

• Color Way: Presented in a clean, sharp optic white that heightens the graphic lines of the overlapping panels and interacts beautifully with shifting ambient shadows.

Details

• Integrated Asymmetric Vest Overlay: Features a dramatic front overlay panel attached directly at the shoulder and side seams, wrapping across the torso to mimic the look of a structured sleeveless waistcoat layered over a classic shirt dress.

• Sharp Pointed Collar & Hidden Placket: Designed with a crisp, tailored pointed collar that leads into a continuous button-down placket, subtly concealed beneath the overlay line to preserve a seamless front canvas.

• Relaxed Long Sleeves with Wide Cuffs: Cut with comfortable, slightly dropped shoulders and straight sleeves finished with deep, structured square cuffs that allow for an easy rolled or pushed-up look.

• Fluid A-Line Midi Silhouette: The main body drops into an airy, gently flared midi-length skirt, utilizing the crisp weight of the fabric to create a clean, elegant swing during movement.

Construction

• Flawless Layered Integration: The dimensional overlay panel is built seamlessly into the shoulder yokes and side columns, preventing internal bunching and maintaining a streamlined, bulk-free profile.

• Fine-Gauge Topstitching: The collar edge, cuffs, and asymmetric panel borders are detailed with high-density, tonal fine-gauge topstitching to reinforce the garment’s geometry and ensure long-term premium durability.
